Witchy Self-Care (EP10 Recap)

On this upcoming Wednesday’s episode, February 9th, 2022, we will be shifting our focus to both self-love and self-care in honor of Valentine’s Day. So whether you’re single, taken, or in a complicationship, there will be something in this episode for you.

Our focus is on combining the mundane and the magical by sharing tips on what you can do for self-care during this time and also sharing some of their favorite witchy self-care recipes as promised; we’ll be including the recipes shared in this episode here. So, check them out below!

Recipes:

Self Care Bath:

This self-care bath is a favorite of mine! I must confess, I skip the measuring cup when I am adding my ingredients. The epsom salt will be added directly to the tub, but if you would like an easier clean up, I recommend the baggies linked below. If you do purchase through this link, please note that I will receive a few pennies on the dollar—and that I appreciate you!

¼ Cup Rose: Beauty + Self Love

¼ Cup Lavender: Inner Peace + Tranquility

1¼ Cups Epsom Salt: Purification

Baggie (For Easy Clean Up)

Self Love Oil:

For this recipe, it is dependent on the size of the jar as to how much oil and herbs you will need. This is not an exact science, but rather a labor of love and intention. I recommend using dried herbs as the oil will keep longer. This oil will typically keep for around 6 months.

1 Amber Jar with Eye Dropper

1 Pinch Dried Chamomile: Love + Healing

1 Pinch Dried Rose: Beauty + Confidence

1 Pinch Dried Lavender: Inner Peace

1 Pinch Dried Rose Quartz: Self Love

Avocado Oil: Venus

Self Love Spell Jar:

This recipe is also dependent on the size of the jar you are using. This can be a small 10ml jar or a larger mason jar. That said, it isn’t the amount of the ingredient that is important here. What is important is that you assign each ingredient its purpose and focus on the overall intention of the jar as you are creating it.

Rose Petals: For self-love and attracting good things to you.

Pink Himalayan Salt: Salt is known for its protective and purifying nature. It is used in rituals. to attract love, romance, and friendship in spells and rituals.

Lavender: Calming, heightening awareness, and anti-anxiety.

Rosemary: For women empowerment.

Rose Quartz: Promotes love for all humanity.

Self Love Crystals:

Crystals are a wonderful addition to your practice and can be used in unison with meditation, if you would like. You can also simply assign the crystal its purpose, and these can be placed around your room, worn, or placed on your altar. If you’d like to read more about using crystals in your practice, you can read our Cleansing + Charging Crystal’s blog here.

Rose Quartz: Attracting Love (The quintessential stone of love!)

Amethyst: Transmutes Energy into Love + Promoting Love of The Divine

Amazonite: Manifesting Universal Love

Rhodonite: Nurtures Love of Humanity; Promotes Self Love + Forgiveness

Citrine: Regeneration, Abundance + Attracting Success

Rhodochrosite: Selfless Love + Compassion

Quartz: Raising Energy + Promotes Healing

Carnelian: Stability + Acceptance

Some Other Self-Care Ideas:

Looking for more ideas on how to incorporate self-care into your routine? While these may seem ordinary and mundane, I can assure you the cumulative effect of prioritizing and pampering yourself is quite magickal.
